I Córdoba Forum
Held in Córdoba from 15 to 17 May 2019
World Convivence Forum
The First Córdoba Forum
The I Córdoba Forum brought together in this historic city, from 15 to 17 May 2019, around 110 adults and young people from 50 organisations across 40 countries, with the aim of inspiring one another through concrete and positive examples of “building convivence” in the face of adversity, drawing on the mythical “Spirit of Córdoba”, which each participant took with them to put into practice in their own environment.
The Córdoba Forum, World Convivence Forum, was organised by the Paradigma Córdoba Foundation for Convivence. It brought together organisations and individuals who share the same commitment to promoting a world in which peaceful convivence is ensured, following the call by the United Nations’ International Day of Living Together in Peace, celebrated each 16 May.
Thirty young people, selected for their personal and concrete work in favour of convivence, took part in this I Córdoba Forum and received training in mediation from the International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID), at the Palacio del Bailío, on 14 and 15 May 2019.
The resources for the I Córdoba Forum were provided by Córdoba City Council, the Nicolas Puech Foundation (Geneva), the Paradigma Córdoba Foundation for Convivence, the International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) and Salam for Cultural Communication (Riyadh).

Introduction to the I Córdoba Forum
