This site is first and foremost a forum for dialogue, dissemination and promotion of the concept of Convivence and its practical application at all levels, as well as a platform for launching initiatives and raising funds for a II Córdoba Forum, World Convivence Forum.

What is the purpose of the Córdoba Forum?
Its ultimate goal is to create a network of entities and individuals with different specific objectives, but whose common denominator is to promote a spirit of Convivence in their respective spheres of influence.
The Córdoba Forum, World Convivence Forum is an initiative of the Paradigma Córdoba Foundation for Convivence.
This platform is a place for information and exchange, not only and first of all, about the Córdoba Forum, whose first edition was held in this city in May 2019, but also about the design and preparation of the II Córdoba Forum; as well as the general theme of Convivence which is “an art of living together with respect for otherness, in all equality” (Alem Surre Garcia) or, more simplified and according to the UN definition, “the art of living together in peace“, whose International Day is celebrated on May 16 every year.
Our intention is to hold the Córdoba Forum in our city on a regular basis, given that its ultimate goal is to create –around the name of Córdoba as a symbol of Convivence– a network of entities and individuals with diverse objectives, but whose common denominator is a world of greater Convivence.
Adaptation to climate change and the reduction of inequalities across territories will be the main themes of the II Córdoba Forum. Convivence is based on dialogue. However, beyond the much-needed intercultural and interreligious dialogue, it is urgent to address the accelerating ecological crisis and the growing inequalities through a continuous, sustained and universal dialogue that enables the practice of Convivence in the «Spirit of Córdoba».

Climate change
Our objective is to promote initiatives that foster a transition that respects both the planet and future generations, thus strengthening a model of convivence based on shared responsibility.
Inclusion and gender
At the Córdoba Forum, we work to highlight inequalities, promote equitable participation and create spaces where everyone can realise their potential without barriers. We actively foster dialogue.
Media and communications
At the Córdoba Forum, we encourage reflection on their social responsibility and their capacity to promote narratives that bring people together rather than divide. We advocate for journalism grounded in ethics, transparency and dialogue.

PROJECTS
Convivence Paths
The Paradigma Córdoba Foundation for Convivence launched the CAMINOS DE CONVIVENCIA (Convivence Paths) project, starting with the Córdoba–Toledo and Toledo–Córdoba routes. Since then, progress has been made in documentation, as well as in mapping, identification and definition of the routes, which are still at an early stage.
Historical tours
Among others, the Mozarabic Way of St James, in Spain, and the Abraham Path, in the Middle East. The Mozarabic Way is a network of medieval routes linking al-Andalus with Santiago de Compostela.
The mission of the Abraham Path is to promote routes that empower local communities, recall our shared origins, connect the human family and build bridges towards the future.
Intercultural action
These routes aim to foster respectful exchanges and mutual understanding between people from different cultures, prevent discrimination and contribute to a society of convivence by promoting dialogue, embracing diversity and building shared values
